This authentic vintage ship porthole dates to the 1940s, crafted from heavy marine-grade brass with its original thick glass intact. Salvaged from a mid-20th century commercial cargo vessel, it once served as a watertight window, allowing light and limited view below deck.

Measures 10.75" across x 1" deep. Solid brass frame with aged patina & surface wear consistent with decades of service at sea. 8 mounting holes remain around the flange, showing where it was once bolted into a steel hull.

Unlike modern reproductions, this is an authentic maritime artifact, carrying the history of life at sea during the golden age of ocean trade. It makes a striking piece of nautical wall décor, and it can also be repurposed into a mirror, coffee table insert, or architectural accent.
