Vintage Millers Falls wood carving tool set in original blue wooden box.
Condition: Good vintage condition with moderate wear to box, scuffs, and marks on handles. All tools present with signs of use. Box shows paint wear, scratches, initials "D.T." carved in front and handwritten notes on back.
Includes five carving tools with bulbous varnished wood handles, marked "MILLERS FALLS" on each.
Blades are various shapes for gouging, chiseling, and carving wood.
Set includes a separate sharpening or honing stone stored inside the box.
Box is dovetail jointed and features a sliding lid. Numerous names and addresses handwritten and inscribed on the back, including "David Thomas, 233 Rear Ave, Perth Amboy, N.J." and "Jerry Kisner (The Great)."
Likely dates to mid-20th century (1940s-1950s) or earlier.
