Rare vintage salt and pepper shakers from the 1962 Phoenix Open Invitational, held at Phoenix Country Club. Made in Italy by Delmas, these feature a silver-tone crest badge reading "19 Invitational 62" with symbols of golf, tennis, and the clubhouse. Arnold Palmer won the event by 12 strokes over Jack Nicklaus, marking their first final-round pairing and the start of their legendary rivalry. Constructed of polished wood with silver-tone metal tops, each shaker measures approx. 8.5" tall with a 2.5" base and a 1" badge. Likely a VIP or participant gift, these are rare pieces of mid-century golf memorabilia. Excellent vintage condition with light patina, no major flaws. A unique collectible for golf enthusiasts and fans of the Palmer-Nicklaus era.
