It is believed there were only around 750-1,000 of these made according to the DCC museum. Combine that with the amount that have been lost or damaged over the years, and you have a true retro audio unicorn!

This is a rare opportunity to own a working piece of DCC history. Whether you're archiving rare tapes or adding to your vintage audio setup, the DCC 600 delivers with style and substance. The bag with the guide, remote and cords were all sealed when I got it. It did have a slight rip in the plastic so I carefully removed the power cord so I could test the unit. The unit was also in a sealed bag when I got it. I didn't feel comfortable selling it untested, so I did remove it from the plastic wrap to test it. The screen display still has the original screen protector on it. There is a sticker on the back that says "Tested by 709 Renewed", it is shown in the photos. I'm not sure If that was from the original production to show it was tested or renewed.
