This 8-note xylophone is from Sweden, from the Auris Musical Instrument company. (The word Auris, evidently, is Latin for: ” belonging to the ear.” The company was founded in 1978 by the Swedish carpenter and musician Kjell Andersson and is known for its distinctive sound and design!!) This instrument has seen a little wear (as the photos show); some faint scratches to the metal and a couple of smudges on the wood, but it sounds GREAT!
