This vintage sterling silver British coin bracelet, crafted by hand, features King George VI. made from genuine British coins, unique and rare due to their age and historical significance. The coins were altered from their original minted state and soldered to a pieced sterling silver chain. The center coin is a 1950 Great Britain Florin, also known as a Two Shillings coin, featuring King George VI. It was made of copper-nickel. On each side of the bracelet are British Sterling silver 1919 Threepence coins, commonly known as “Joey” coins. struck in 500 fine silver, Next to each side is a 1913 British One Penny coin featuring King George V, made of bronze. Lastly, there’s a 1931 British Threepence coin composed of 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel, and 5% zinc.
The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2” with 2” added for extra length.The chains and sterling coins have been tested for sterling. It’s a pre-owned item in good condition and will come in a gift box.
