Hollywood Perfume by Fred Hayman, White florals abound in Hollywood for women, launched in 1988. Top notes open this perfume with aldehydes, peach, green leaves, and mandarin orange. Middle notes of jasmine, tuberose, ylang-ylang, mimosa, and rose sweeten the floral middle, and civet, musk, sandalwood, amber, and gardenia provide an animalic base. Recommended for daytime wear, it is a warm, sharp scent that enhances natural femininity.Fred Hayman started with an eclectic boutique that sold designer clothes and rose to fame to become Rodeo Drive’s “Mr. Beverly Hills”. Previously a hotelier, Hayman opened Giorgio Beverly Hills and attracted wealthy clientele with his exclusive designs, unusual décor, billiards room and bar, reading room, and trendy club-like atmosphere. Joining the perfume world in 1981 with a fragrance named for the boutique, his perfume was sold for such a high price that afterward, the boutique was renamed in Hayman’s honor. In 2011 he received a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award.
