Google is all set to launch Google Offers against Groupon. Google was unsuccessful in buying Groupon as the latter rejected the 6 Billion offer. The Groupon concept is hot and is spreading wild fire in almost every country with lots of groupon clones as well as local players spicing the scene. Google would never want to leave an empty presence in such a hot and booming e-commerce scene.

Google offers would be powered by Google Checkout.

I thought the overhead of selling Cars in a groupon like website is more, but i was proved wrong by Chinese groupon based website Taobao. They Sold 205 Benz cars in 3.5 hours.  Simply Amazing!
