How the Trends Occur in Google Trends India an Analysis

Every wondered how the trends break out? One day you see some strange keyword and you got no idea why on earth people are searching for this keyword (Eg: BT cotton on 21st December? I have always wondered why this happens and finally today i understood how the trends happen.
The Google India Trends are determined by some of the below factors
- Breaking News Eg:Earth Quake, Bomb Blasts
- Some strange advertisements Eg: What is K.I.L.B
- News Channels Flashing some news about famous personality or events Eg: Sanjuy Dutt Manyata Private Photos leaked, Lakme Fashion week wadrobe Malfunction
- Exam Results and analysis
- Sexual Drive ( i got no clue how this search trend is determined)
Today i had written by Snap 2008 exam and i reached back and checked the trends expecting snap 2008 to be in top of the keywords and i found out a question has also hit the top list. “BT Cotton” was one of the General knowledge question that appeared in snap 2008 analysis and it has hit the Trends. I was quite shocked seeing this but at the same time happy that i found the solution how strange keywords make it to the list.
Snap 2008 was written by around 1 Lakh + Students. Assuming atleast 30 thousand people atleast got back after exams and got into google and searched for BT cotton and thus making the keyword the most searched in google for the day. The keyword becomes more spicy when google trend followers try to search again for the same keyword to see what exactly the breaking news , posts etc are for the keyword.
So remember next time you see a strange keyword, it must be a part of some examination or something like that.
