Once you have your website or blog up you definitely need to have a sitemap for your Blog. Sitemaps makes it easy for search engines to locate pages in your blog/website.
Google and MSN have their Webmaster Zone where you can add your sitemaps and control the links you would like to get indexed in their search engines.
You can add you Sitemaps to Google and Verify it. The Google Bot would index all your links and you can see all the links indexed in google through webmasters. Know about the errors in the links. You get to know more about your website from the search engine point of view from the webmasters. If you have a blog you must definitely submit your sitemaps to google webmasters.
MSN webmasters also like google lets you add sitemap. The advantage is that you get your links indexed in MSN live search which means you get MSN search traffic also.
So Submit your sitemaps to both Google and MSN webmasters and get traffic from both search giants.

NO i guess!
But what you can do in blogspot is to make sure you have the archives displayed.
This will make sure all your pages are scrolled by the bot
