Here is a digg story about Multiple accounts. I had two Digg Accounts. The First one i had created when i first got into digg using my primary email id (say 123@abc.com) but i choose to have a nick for that instead of my name. Later when i started to do blogs under my domain name i wanted to use my name so i created one more account using another email address(say: xyz@abc.com) by my name and i started using that.

Since i was using the second email address and the “Myname” own digg account frequently i was getting shouts in that email which i used to check like once in a month. I then headed to settings and changed the email from xyz@abc.com to 123@abc.com. This made my two digg accounts have the same email address. I logged off from digg and the problem started.

I was not able to log into the second digg account i created and the forgot password did not work. Both accounts had the same email address and it sents the password for the first account and the second email xyz@abc.com never existed in digg. The only solution was to mail digg explaining them the stuff.

Digg removed my first account citing that its a Terms violation for a person to have multiple digg accounts and my second account became active again. I was scared that Digg might ban my two accounts but it dint happen.
