In a new research conducted by Visibli, they have concluded that the Facebook posts(updates) receive 50% of their Likes within the first 1 hour 20 minutes of being published, 80% within the first 7 hours, and 95% within the first 22 hours.

I strongly feel a social media agency managing a facebook page has to typically update a page every 6-7 hours. This would ensure us that the content is fresh on the page and we can engage more fans in the next 7 hours.

Though there are many reasons on the web as to why twitter wants to acquire tweet deck, I just want to evaluate what would happen if twitter acquires tweet deck. In case of such an acquisition, Idont see a possiblity of twitter closing down Tweet deck. They would rather continue to use Tweet deck and rather re-christen (probably to twitter) the software in the very next update after an acquisition.
