Indias Top 5 Trusted Brands 2011

The Survey undertaken by Trust Research Advisory (TRA), titled The Brand Trust Report, India Study 2011 has put Nokia has the most trusted brand in India. It is followed by Tata.

The survey that also included personalities as brands and it puts Sachin Tendulkar at 59th position ahead of Mahatma Gandhi.

Top 5 trusted Brands in India

  1. Nokia
  2. Tata
  3. Sony
  4. LG
  5. Samsung

Intersting personalities in the list are Aamir Khan at 242. Cola Giants Pepsi is at 36th position while Coke is at 60th position.The survey is based on responses and views on 16,000 brands from 2,310 participants across nine top cities in India.

Google Offers to compete againt Groupon

Google is all set to launch Google Offers against Groupon. Google was unsuccessful in buying Groupon as the latter rejected the 6 Billion offer. The Groupon concept is hot and is spreading wild fire in almost every country with lots of groupon clones as well as local players spicing the scene. Google would never want to leave an empty presence in such a hot and booming e-commerce scene.

Google offers would be powered by Google Checkout.
